Commercial guides and comparisons include only records that clear the stated evidence gates. Official manufacturer manuals and product documentation outrank marketplace listing copy. Conflicts are disclosed or left unresolved; missing values remain Unknown or Not specified.

Editorial independence and affiliate relationships

Affiliate availability or commission does not determine a technical conclusion, inclusion decision, compatibility result, or comparison outcome. CoringSpec does not accept payment from tool brands for favorable placement. Sponsored links are labeled.

Prohibited claims

We do not invent test results, ratings, prices, stock status, warranties, manufacturer approval, reinforced-concrete eligibility, or product experience. A dimensional match is not presented as OEM approval, and one model’s specification is not copied to another model.

Testing and hands-on language

Research from manuals and product documents is described as research. We claim personal field use, laboratory testing, measured performance, or long-term ownership only when that work actually occurred and can be documented.

Updates and corrections

Product records carry their own verification dates. Editors are responsible for reviewing affected specifications, compatibility results, guides, and metadata when a source changes. Material errors follow the public corrections workflow; cache clearing alone does not constitute an update.

AI and editorial assistance

Drafting and consistency tools may assist organization, but technical claims require human review against the cited evidence. Automated text is not accepted as a source and cannot fill a missing specification.
